Youth Core Team
Where Formation Becomes Mission
What is the Youth Core Team?
Holy Trinity’s Youth Core Team is made up of young disciples who have been formed, built up, and sent to use the gifts the Holy Spirit has given them. These are youth who have completed their Confirmation journey and answered a deeper call: to serve their parish community and lead the next generation of Confirmation candidates.
They are young people on fire for Christ - living out 1 Timothy 4:12 by setting an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity for those who come after them.

What does the Youth Core Team do?
Lead by example
Embodying the five commitments of our covenant in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.
Mentor Confirmation candidates
Walking alongside younger teens, answering questions, and sharing their own faith journey.
Serve the parish
Helping at Youth Mass, youth events, leading small groups, parish events, and supporting the youth ministry mission.
Grow deeper in their relationship with God
Participating in their own formation through prayer, the Sacraments, Scripture, and spiritual direction.
Go further
Becoming equipped to evangelize, catechize, and invite their peers to learn more about our Catholic faith.
How do you join?
The Youth Core Team is by interest and commitment. After Confirmation, the youth are invited to consider this deeper call based on:
-
Demonstrated faith and maturity
-
Willingness to serve and mentor
-
Commitment to living in the covenant
-
Openness to ongoing formation
If you have completed Confirmation and feel called to serve with our Youth Core Team, please contact Nicko or a Core Team leader.

Formed. Built. Called. In Their Own Words.
“Young people of every continent, do not be afraid to be the saints of the new millennium! Be contemplative, love prayer; be coherent with your faith and generous in the service of your brothers and sisters.” - St. John Paul II
